Salsaria is Ottawa's salsa social host, a not-for-profit interest group ''for dancers, by dancers.'' We host salsa social on every other Saturday at the Preston Hall of the Plant Recreation Centre, 930 Somerset Street West.

Join us for a true salsa social experience!

► SALSARIA WORKSHOP FROM 8PM - 9PM. At our social, there will always be a workshop, usually offer by pro artists from out of town or by local talents, and the occasional shows and performances by pro artists and local dancers.

► SOCIAL DANCING FROM 9PM - 1AM: It's the only salsa event in Ottawa where salsa congress experience is happening every other weekend! It's the only place where Ottawa's best salsa dancers are hanging out! Your favourite salsa, chacha, bachata and merengue tunes are usually provided by our resident DJ dVo and by some very talented latin DJs.

► FEE: $8 for social with complimentary workshop (Regular Event). $10 for social or $15 for social and workshop (Special Event).

► PLEASE NOTE THAT:
1. Outside drink, alcohol or non-alcohol, is NOT PERMITTED on the premises. Water, pop and juices are available for purchase. Only under special occasion permit for special events, we sell alcohol.
2. Street/outdoor shoes, or shoes with rubber bottom soles, are NOT PERMITTED on the dance floor. You may wear leather or suede bottom shoes. We will be having Ballo shoes (male and female) on site for purchase.
